WU Alumni New Reporter for WDTN

Kajeza Hawkins, WU class of '21, is the newest reporter at WDTN. Kajeza is a graduate of DECA High School in Dayton and has returned to her hometown from reporting in Zanesville, Ohio. It was a surprise homecoming for her and one of her favorite WU instructors, Mr. Jacques Kahindo, whom she met in the studio Friday. As a guest contributor on the 5:30 pm newscast, Mr. Kahindo offered his thoughts on the second anniversary of the January 6th insurrection and the McCarthy vote on Capitol Hill.
