Patricia Thomas Walker, formerly of Waterbury, CT passed peacefully on Monday, April 20, 2020 at Bristol Hospital in Bristol, CT. She graduated from Wilberforce University in 1972 with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Education. She was a loving mother, grandmother, daughter, sister, aunt, cousin and friend. We lift the Walker Family in prayer.
Rev. Donald E. Newberry, Jr, Class of 1979 of Cincinnati, OH, passed away Sunday, May 3, 2020 after having recently suffered a stroke. He received a Master’s in Education Degree from Northern Kentucky University. Donald pastored an AME church in Kentucky and was an associate under his father, Rev. Dr. Donald Newberry Sr., Class of 1955, at Lee Chapel AME Church in Cincinnati, OH. He worked as an instructor for the Cincinnati Public Schools and in Covington, KY. During this time he worked as a radio personality in the Cincinnati, OH area. More recently Donald pastored St. Paul AME Church in Milford, OH. He is survived by his son, Donald and family and brother, Rev. Andrew K. Newberry, also of the Class of 1979, who with his wife and family resides in Pittsburgh, PA. Praying for the Newberry Family.
